Initiative "CO2 compensé"
Our season has finished and we knew that we had to compensate 232,000kg of CO2, the ‘carbon footprint’ of our guests. This amount is calculated from 70% of our guests, averaged and then factored up to 100%.
We went to Africa (Benin) for the whole month of November with the intention of clearing this amount, to which has been added a further 8,000 kg representing our flight from Paris to Cotonou.
There, we participated in a project to plant thousands of trees.
20.000 mangrove trees were planted during this periode.

Aware of the importance of this plantation, every inhabitant of a village united each other to guarantee the success of the operation. |
